Harry Fane Cartier Baignoire Wristwatch

Cartier first produced an oval shaped watch in 1913, however the term “Baignoire” was first recorded in 1956 when a series of new model watches were launched. This watch was made by Cartier London and is part of that important series of watches which were unique to the London production. This example is dated 1972

Original dial; silvered dial signed Cartier with Roman numerals and blued “Èpée” hands and a beaded winder with a sapphire cabochon.
