Harry Fane Cartier Tank Normale 1960’s

The Tank Normale was the first unisex Tank design which Cartier introduced in 1919. The typical straight sides with sharp corners linked by gold bars with dials in silver with black Roman numerals and winding crowns set with cabochon sapphires established the model to be the standard Tank design for Cartier. This must be one of the most enduring watch designs of the entire twentieth century. This example is dated to 1960’s.
