Castro Owl & Moon Ring

After training as a painter and print maker, Castro Smith started a traditional apprenticeship with the Goldsmiths Company to study engraving. Using the ancient technique of ‘seal engraving’ Castro modernizes his designs European and Japanese influences. Inspired by history, myths and biology, he is obsessed with creatures and their creations.

This is a new design from Castro featuring a crescent moon and owl design with flower vines. Hand crafted out of matt yellow gold, the engraving feature both white and grey rhodium. The inside band is polished for a very comfortable fit and features a small engraving. Height of oval 1.7cm, back width of band 0.4cm.
