Castro Sunflower Ring

After training as a painter and print maker, Castro Smith started a traditional apprenticeship with the Goldsmiths Company to study engraving. Using the ancient technique of ‘seal engraving’ Castro modernizes his designs European and Japanese influences. Inspired by history, myths and biology, he is obsessed with creatures and their creations.

This silver ring features a big sunflower engraving in yellow gold with wheat stems on the band. The inside band is polished for a very comfortable fit and features a small engraving. Height of oval 1.9cm, back width of band 0.4cm.
