In celebration of Principal dancer Edward Watson’s 30 year association with The Royal Ballet and The Royal Ballet School, photographer Rick Guest has produced a landmark portfolio that honours both his career and spirit. This portfolio is a celebration of Edward’s career to date.

This limited edition book includes a foreword by HRH The Prince of Wales, President of The Royal Ballet. The book comprises a large format boxed collection of 30 prints shot by Rick Guest showing Edward’s distinctive physicality and character. The photographs celebrate some of Edward’s signature roles from Kenneth MacMillan’s Mayerling to Wayne McGregor’s Carbon Life as well as portraits of his closest colleagues Kevin O’Hare Director of The Royal Ballet, Wayne McGregor, Christopher Wheeldon and Arthur Pita.

Also includes a booklet containing a newly commissioned essay on Edward’s life and career by dance critic Sarah Crompton. Edward joined The Royal Ballet in 1994 having trained at The Royal Ballet School from 1987, he is the longest serving Principal in the Company.
