Comme des Garçons Parfums

Comme des Garçons Parfums was founded in Paris in 1994, the year of its first scent, the Eau de Parfum, whose bottle Rei Kawakubo designed. With its long-time creative director Christian Astuguevieille, the house set out to make anti-perfume: Odeur 53 (1998) recreated the smells of non-floral things such as oxygen, metal and washing drying in the wind. Alongside its series, it makes scents with artists and brands, among them Monocle, KAWS and Stüssy.
