Dover Street Market proudly presents the second edition of DSM “Jewellery Market”, an initiative spotlighting emerging creative jewellery talents from around the globe – showcasing the very best of the next generation of jewellery designers working today. In collaboration with a number of internationally renowned colleges, schools, and programs, 36 students and recent graduates have been invited to exhibit their work at DSM.
Taiki Scharber is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design. They are a designer and metalsmith, creating contemporary jewelry that explores memory, fate, and ritual through the lens of Japanese Omikuji. Each piece is handcrafted in sterling silver with custom-cut, 1,500-year-old preserved bog oak inlays, 2mm bead-set garnets, and a spring closure designed to rest close to the neck—the body's most vulnerable point. Bridging ancient materials with modern craftsmanship, the work transforms objects into quiet talismans that invite reflection, protection, and personal meaning
