Martin Margiela Reebok TZ Pump Deadstock Sneakers White/Red

For the next chapter of Maison Margiela's collaboration with Reebok, Creative Director John Galliano investigates the TZ Pump Sneakers originally launched in 1990 and made famous by the basket-baller Dominique Wilkins. 

The original design is interpreted through the natural deconstruction process of hydrolysis: the water-induced chemical breakdown of a sneaker’s construction, which inevitably sets in with time. The technique was first employed by Maison Margiela in the DDSTCK trainer in 2020.

The new TZ Pump Dead-stock features an aged upper created through staining and distress, with a cracked and hand- painted midsole.
